Check which Seagate harddirve you have at home. Latest news from Seagate’s Knowledge Base : some of the 1.0TB Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 hard drive will freeze up suddently, and some 500GB version stop working. Seagate found out the faulty firmware cause the problem. There is no affect to any CC or LC firmware version harddrives.
Seagate promist no data lost to those hard drives and will provide data recovery service at no charge.
Here is the instructions/details on 1st firmware upgrade. Released at Jan 16, 2009.

nVidia announced their low profile graphic card Quadro NVS 420. This video card can support up to four 30″ displays with resolution up to 2560 x 1600. Quadro NVS 420 will be available in February with the price tag @$499.00 US.

It has total 16 parallel processor cores by two GPUs with 512 MB memory. Plus the large bandwith at the speed of 11.2GB/s. Make sure you have enough power to handle this card. It consumes 40W of power.
